BYU–Hawaii Housing Subsidy Benefit

Brigham Young University–Hawaii offers full-time faculty and administrative employees, at grade level 27 and above, additional compensation in salary and a taxable housing subsidy benefit. This housing subsidy is intended to offset the employee’s monthly housing costs and may be used for either BYU–Hawaii owned and maintained housing or privately-owned housing. The housing subsidy amounts to an additional $18,000 taxable benefit per year included in the employee’s twice-monthly paycheck.

When an employee is offered a home and chooses to reject the offer, the employee will need to reapply and will be added to the bottom of the waitlist.
